I love a good redemption story and Taylor Rylan definitely didn't disappoint with Monroe redemption。 I love Monroe and Oscar！ They are so sweet and perfect for each other。 They both have families they are take care because of unfortunate circumstances。 I just love seeing them growing together as fated mates and blending their families together。 Such a short and sweet story in this amazing world。 I love a good redemption story and Taylor Rylan definitely didn't disappoint with Monroe redemption。 I love Monroe and Oscar！ They are so sweet and perfect for each other。 They both have families they are take care because of unfortunate circumstances。 I just love seeing them growing together as fated mates and blending their families together。 Such a short and sweet story in this amazing world。 。。。more

What a great read。 The story starts with both Monroe and Oscar tending to their siblings as they are their guardians。 When the fates visited both of them to say they are getting their mates， they were whisked away to the mountains。 They both knew they were mates and slowly started to get to know one another。 Loved how Monroe was patient and understanding with Oscar with what happened to him。 Love the world building， great chemistry and heat between them。 Cannot wait to read more of this world。

Love itSo beautiful！！！ I have to honestly say this book has grabbed me by my heart from the very first page and I freaking love it。 The story ended beautifully and the love can be felt from the characters。 Thank you Taylor Rylan for another fantastic book and also for giving Monroe and Oscar their happily ever after！。

yeah OscarI was so glad Oscar finally got his mate， with everything he had been through and was going through he needed Monroe。 I love Monroe he has grown since we first met him。 These two were just a great pair and it was lovely to see them build something with both there instant families。 Great read as always xx

I absolutely loved that not only did Oscar finally get his HEA after getting rescued and then basically going straight back into Hell to save his siblings。 It was a long time coming for the sweet wolf shifter and he totally deserved to find his mate and be spoiled。 He really really deserved it after stepping up with his siblings too。Monroe is a character we met for only a brief moment way back when Montgomery was chosen to go to the “shifter realm” in ‘Fergus’ Hurricane’ but there was something I absolutely loved that not only did Oscar finally get his HEA after getting rescued and then basically going straight back into Hell to save his siblings。 It was a long time coming for the sweet wolf shifter and he totally deserved to find his mate and be spoiled。 He really really deserved it after stepping up with his siblings too。Monroe is a character we met for only a brief moment way back when Montgomery was chosen to go to the “shifter realm” in ‘Fergus’ Hurricane’ but there was something about him that always had me thinking about him after being called out by Canyon and Thomas。 So when I saw that Taylor was bringing him back to give his a mate all his own I was very excited and she didn’t disappoint。 In the years between us meeting him for the first time and the present day， his world has changed A LOT and he has changed too。 Gone is the brash， selfish young fae for a truly humble， caring， loving brother/father。 Monroe was such a sweet gentle fae who I adored getting to know more about。 This novella gave me everything I needed except for one thing， but I don’t want to risk spoilers but it does not affect my ability to rate it 5 stars。 This is a fast low angst read set in a well established paranormal world。 I would highly recommend having read the books making up the larger world before diving into this。 I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book。 。。。more

No spoilers of any kind included。 So this will be all that I say about Monroe and that is I really enjoyed reading this book because it was awesome！ So yep I do recommend Monroe to anyone who is searching for a good story to climb into。 But you may want to read the series Paranormal Council Enforcers first before you read this book so you’ll understand Oscar better because he is introduced in that series and Monroe was introduced in to us in Cornelius: Warlocks of Amherst。

Wonderful Story！I really enjoyed this story set in the Destin Paranormals universe。 Monroe and Oscar lives have taken a turn over the last couple of years leading to their new respective families。 Finding your fated mate and blending your families takes some work。 This leads to a wonderful story in this well crafted universe。 I highly recommend this series of books which is best enjoyed in order。

Monroe is the second story in the Destined Paranormal series。 We’ve met Monroe in the past and he definitely needed a redemption story and the author did a great job。 Monroe came across as spoiled in the past， but circumstances have changed for him。 He stepped up to the plate when the going got tough for him。 Oscar has had a lot of crap thrown at him in life。 Both men are taking care of their families now and definitely need each other。 Overall， a sweet story。

Sweet HEA for Oscar and MonroeI am so glad that Oscar found his HEA。 He was one of those secondary characters who even though they don’t spend a ton of time on page， leave an impression and I’d been hoping to see him get a HEA for a while。 I do admit， I didn’t remember Monroe very clearly at first but I liked him as a character。 He was sweet and self-aware; he may have been selfish in the past but he was a truly good person now and his siblings were lucky to have him as a father。 I do think （and Sweet HEA for Oscar and MonroeI am so glad that Oscar found his HEA。 He was one of those secondary characters who even though they don’t spend a ton of time on page， leave an impression and I’d been hoping to see him get a HEA for a while。 I do admit， I didn’t remember Monroe very clearly at first but I liked him as a character。 He was sweet and self-aware; he may have been selfish in the past but he was a truly good person now and his siblings were lucky to have him as a father。 I do think （and this is my personal view， it’s not a criticism of the story） that it would have been nice to see these guys wait before Oscar got pregnant。 Not just because Oscar was going from one big life event to the next but because I think it would have been good for the existing kids to feel safe and comfortable （in so far is reasonable） as part of this new family unit before a new child came into the mix （especially as I know that no matter how awesome the parents， sometimes non-bio kids can have feelings of a biological child being ‘more’ or ‘better’ which I think is why building that base is important）。 That being said， when we get a glimpse later on that doesn’t seem to be the case and they do genuinely seem like they’ve managed to really create a genuinely whole and stable family unit which is lovely to see。 I will say Rene disappointed me but I won’t go into it more than that。 This was sweet and fun and a quick read that’s perfect for this time of year！ 。。。more

Monroe by Taylor Rylan is the second book in her Destined Paranormals series。 You may want to read more books from her paranormal series to understand the world she has created as well as to be introduced to other characters that appear in this story。 Monroe is Fae and an alpha and was disappointed when his younger brother was chosen to get his mate before he was so he tried hard to be a better person。 He grew up with parents that did nothing but procreate and had their older children look after Monroe by Taylor Rylan is the second book in her Destined Paranormals series。 You may want to read more books from her paranormal series to understand the world she has created as well as to be introduced to other characters that appear in this story。 Monroe is Fae and an alpha and was disappointed when his younger brother was chosen to get his mate before he was so he tried hard to be a better person。 He grew up with parents that did nothing but procreate and had their older children look after the many others who came along。 When they died Monroe took in the youngest two， Mason and Mailie， who were 3 and a baby and took care of them while working。 He had given up the hope of getting a mate because the Fae world had been closed。 Then one day the Fate Thomas came to him and said they had found his perfect mate so he went to Montana where the Paranormal Council was located。 There he met Oscar， who was an omega wolf shifter。 He had been sold into slavery by his pack but was rescued by the Enforcers and now lived in Timber Valley below the mountain where the Paranormal Council lived， and he had taken in his teenaged brother and sister。 His brother was great， but his sister was a pain， always challenging and demanding things Oscar couldn’t provide as he worked 2 jobs that didn’t pay much so he was quite worn out。 Once they met they were sent to a new house on the mountain where Monroe would be managing the store there and given a chance to learn about each other while Thomas and his mate watched all the children。 Monroe didn’t know anything about wooing and claiming a mate except from what he had read in books because in the Fae world they never had a relationship with anyone except their mate。 Oscar had been abused by those who had taken him and wasn’t sure about the mating， let alone how they would manage having 4 children。 But as time went on they learned to trust and count on each other for help and once they mated and were claimed they fell in love and looked to the future with hope。 They also had some very hot love scenes。 I really enjoyed this story as I have the others Ms。 Rylan has written。 I love the paranormal world she has created as it is different from others I have read about。 Monroe was naïve when it came to relationships but was willing to try and to help and please his mate in any way he could。 He also had magic that made many things easier。 Oscar was tired from everything he had to do just to survive and take care of his siblings， but was eventually won over and happy to be mated to Monroe and to know he could lean on him when he needed to。 I always enjoy reading more about characters that were in other stories and there were several that made an appearance and helped them in this one。 And of course there is a new baby involved that always makes the stories that much sweeter。 I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to reading the next one in the series to see what happens next in this amazing world。 。。。more
